Mr. Sparkles & Snowball Muffie

Mr. Sparkles & Snowball Muffie.

A company with U.S. government ties and multimillion dollar grants, needs to complete an experiment with an unforgiving time line, and diminishing funds. The government is pressing for results. The experiment (in a nut shell) is to infect an individual with minute dosages of radioactive isotopes, gradually over a periods of a persons life time and when that person dies, the company, using imagery equipment records the death and the possibility of something/someone leaving the body upon death by photographing the radioactive particles/molecules/atoms as they leave the corpse. They find a person, assign a chef, and they monitor that person during the course of his life. The chef slowly adds the isotopes in the subjects food. The subject has no love. Is alone and his mental state has come into question before the experiment is complete. After all, the subject hasn’t died yet, nor is he close to death. The company has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars to date, and must find a way to cheer up the despondent test case. They look for a mate. The story stars with them unable to find a female who will do. The try to secretly get hired women to cheer him up, all to no avail. Then, one day, while meeting to discuss the situation, a tech support member is called to bring the dossier on the subject into the conference room. The woman who enters the conference room is the one person the company hired to keep records of the subject. It is quickly realized that she may be the perfect mate. She has followed the subjects every move. She maintains his personal files. She knows everything about him. Also of interest is the fact that she volunteered for the death/isotopes assignment and was turned down because she had failing kidneys. It was assumed when the ‘call went out’ that she would never live long enough to complete the assignment. After much deliberation, she is called back into the conference room and asked if she would consider taking on the ‘new’ assignment? It is explained, this ‘new’ assignment is the same assignment she applied for six years ago, but with a twist! The intern goes home to consider the task. She most likely will die about the same time the original subject will. It’s a match! She is sent to France, and rents a flat in the same building as his. They fall in love. Although it is prohibited, he tells her of his situation, and that he is part of an experiment. She tells him of her medical problems and that she works for the same company that hired him. She explained the company figured she would die at about the same time as he. The both decide to screw the company, and while their being watched, they plan to meet at the rail station and disappear. He waits, and waits, she never shows up. Finally, out of frustration, and thinking something terrible has happened to her, returns to the flat, only to find out she has gone. He questions the desk clerk, who says two men came ant took her. The desk clerk said she was struggling. He knows the company came and took her. Thinking they took her against her will, he travels back to the states and finds himself hiding in the bushes, outside the perimeter fence of the companies experimental compound. His love for her conquers his fear and he scales the chain link fence. After dropping to the other side, he runs to the shadows on the side of the gray, nondescript, concrete building. While planning his next step, guards arrive, wrestle him to the ground and subdue him. When he awakes, he is he is sitting in an observation room; surrounded by rows of computer monitors and flashing lights. Directly in front of him are large windows and in the lighted room on the other side is his love. She is strapped down to an operating table. His worse fears have been realized, she is dieing, and they are watching the experiment unfold. She is dieing before him! He calls out loud to no avail. He figures the bastards gave her the same isotopes and where waiting for her to die also. They give him a sedative. When he comes to, he is also strapped to an operating table! He slowly turns his head to one side, only to see his love lying on a table next to his. He figures they are both dieing and this is the end of the experiment, because they will be able to monitor two bodies. He starts to cry as he watches her lying there. When he thinks she did this for him, he can’t forgive himself. As if by a miracle, she slowly turns to face him. She is not dead! In his confusion he tries to rise from the gurney but the straps hold him securely. The (Tom Hanks) administrator walks over to this table smiling. He goes one step further and explains they had to come get her quickly, because the found a kidney donor! A kidney match for her and there was only hours before the operation could be performed without loosing the new kidney! There was not enough time to tell you! She is fine! Long story short, they are both very much in love and are living in a small flat, overlooking a bookstore in France.

Administrator: Tom Hanks.
Mr. Sparkles Chef: Morgan Freeman.
Snowball Muffie’s Chef: ?

Note: Both Chefs work for the company, and they know their jobs. Their jobs are to add radioactive ingredients to Mr. Sparkles, and Snowball Muffie's food. Both Chefs are also in love. Then again, maybe they are not doing their jobs? (sequel).
