Miner problem…global
warming
Story: Global warming...Remember, if you were to shrink the earth (for clarity-from the size of a softball to the size of a golf ball) the earth's continents would fit back together like a jigsaw puzzle. Knowing this, one could theorize the earth has expanded to its present size. How? From a growing inner pressure pushing out. Magma, gasses, etc. The earths' crust is cracked, weakened, and very thin in places. The upper mantle and lower mantel are thinner because of this growing outward pressure. Historically magma filled in these cracks and fissures when they occurred. Not so anymore. The magma is seeping to the surface, on land and under our oceans specifically. The ocean water is cooling and 'capping' these events. This heat from these unseen events is dissipated in the vast bodies of water we call oceans. Temperatures change, migratory routes change, food sources change, etc., like dominoes. It is my belief the earth’s magma is expanding out from the 'transition zone'. It is my belief the 'transition zone' was much thinner at one time. The magma is growing and in doing so, the 'transition zone' continues to expand and the inner lining or lower mantle is growing thinner. Because of this process, the upper mantle is being forced to expand to accommodate the expansion of the 'transition zone'. In doing so, small fissures have become larger fissures and more volcanic action/events should be on their way to relieve the earth's inner pressure. In previous years, and because of the slow manifestation of this event, volcanic magma had thousands of years to cool, fill in the cracks, block the holes, etc. Now, the time period or pace at which the upper surface of the 'transition zone' (lower mantle) is deteriorating has quickened and unless something is done, by its nature, will not allow the earth's upper crust time to heal, or cool. Therefore it is my contention the 'magma' or molten portion of the lower mantle is slowly consuming the inner lining of the earth’s crust and with its’ increased appetite it has also given us a bonus to deal with; with a thinner crust, we have a hotter crust, i.e., global warming. It is so much easier to blame it on something that can be controlled and altered, like man. Which I'm sure in a small, and ever increasing part, we are also responsible for global warming simply by the destruction of that which keeps the earth's surface cool. For many, global warming as a natural occurrence is hard to swallow, and I can appreciate their views; however, I am talking about something which may be occurring on a natural, global, evolutionary scale and unless we come up with a plan, futuristically speaking, an unstoppable event which is gaining momentum and may be running parallel to our present evolutionary mission. Because our crust is thinner and the magma having more mass and therefore exerting more pressure pushing out from the inner lining, the crust is expanding to accommodate the additional mass, pressure, increased cracking, and an ever increasing incidence of volcanic gas releases resulting in increased tsunami activity. I hope the volcanic activity stays on the rise; because if it stops, and the pressure under our crust cannot be released we will experience catastrophic seismic events to accommodate the expansion of the magma mass of such a degree we may never recover. Not to throw 'kindling on the fire' but to continue extracting trillions of gallons of crude oil out of very thin, hollow chambers in a thinning crust does not seem a prudent enterprise! Once the voids in the earths crust and upper mantle are empty they can collapse. Worse yet, I understand they pump water into the voids to force the crude oil to the surface. That means huge billion gallon caverns are left under thin layers of crust and mantle full of water, not heavy consistency oil, but thin water that can be turned to steam when heated and explode like a huge geode, giving way to a volcanic eruption the likes we have never seen, not to mention the blackening atmosphere and death to all living things relying on the sun for life. Having said that, I believe the earth was originally very small, perhaps as much as one third smaller. I believe the earth was once covered with a layer of frozen ice. One reason I say this is because if you were to look at the continents from space, you would see many of them fit together like pieces of a jig saw puzzle. To shrink the earth small enough so the pieced fit back together as they once were, the earth would be much smaller and therefore much further from the sun’s heat. That is also why the whole earth is not covered with water, it has expanded and the water is filling the cracks. I will reiterate; for the pieces of continents to fit together in the manner their mirror images and shorelines suggest, the earth would have to be much smaller; basically, a golf ball instead of a base ball for comparison. It is my theory; at one time the earth was identical to Mars. Sister planets if you will. That is to say, the surface was covered with a very thick layer of frozen ice. The reason I say 'covered with frozen ice' is because the water had to come from somewhere. It is my contention it was already here in frozen form. Perhaps it 'condensed' on our surface from space when the earth was warm and during its infancy, I do not know. This being said, it is my opinion the magma inside the earth is slowly consuming the inner shell and eventually the heat from this event has in the past heated the earths crust, broken the earth's crust, and expanded the earth's crust just enough to bring it closer to the sun and melt the frozen ice on the surface. I believe this process which started millions of years ago is continuing. This is nothing new. The expansion process is on-going. Consider for a moment that one degree is not much when thinking of relativity to body temperature; but it is considerable when you think of how much heat is needed to melt ice; basically one degree from (32º) right? Also keep this in mind, to melt ice you do not have to apply heat directly to it; consider a bowl of ice cubes, leave it and return in the morning. The ice will be gone and the bowl will be cooler. The ice cooled that which exists around it; the bowl did not heat the ice, the ice cooled the bowl. The ice at our poles is cooling that which is around it and being diluted in the process. As the magma grew and consumed the earths crust from the inside-out, the earth’s surface became thinner and warmer. That is to say, not thin but thin enough in some spots to allow the earth’s surface to crack under the tremendous rising pressure from within. When cracks appeared (seismic events) the frozen ice above quickly melted and millions of cubic miles of cold water melted, filled, and cooled the cracks. Great ways to visualize this event is to blow up a red balloon, spray paint it white, and then blow it up some more. The paint (just like the crust) cracks and separates from the other pieces much like the earths crust did as the magma/balloon expands under the increased pressure. This being said, it was just a matter of time before magma, under great pressure broke through the crust in the form of earth quakes and released magma and gas pressure via holes in the crust called volcanoes. Volcanoes slowed the process of expansion because they allowed the release of the intense pressure building under the earths crust. The heated crust transferred that heat to the ice fields which in turn melted, filled in the cracks on the earth’s surface with oceans, and there you have it. Unfortunately, global warming is not just some problem man created. Global warming is not something which can be reversed simply by driving electric cars. Surely we have contributed, but we are not the cause. If anything, it may do some people well to consider, much of man's evolutionary directions and decisions are because of global warming, not the other way around. We know one theory that many years ago the earth had a global ‘blackout’. The skies filled with soot from a massive volcanic eruptions, cracks and fissures. Great amounts of water evaporated and filled the skies, blocked the sun, fell from the skies and froze on the surface of a very cold earth. The thinnest, frozen, geographical locations are on the equator, the thickest, the poles. If you look at the shape of the earth, it is not round, the earth is not the ‘ball’ depicted in the movies. The earth has two semi-flat regions and they are the poles. This is why the most frozen water collected there, they are the furthest from the sun at times, and why it has taken so long for that water to thaw. The earth’s expansion/bulge is at the thinnest part, the equator. When the massive amounts of moisture had risen into our atmosphere and blocked the suns heat from the earth’s surface, the darkness and freezing moisture falling from the sky also froze all surface living creatures. It moved massive amounts of surface debris and mass while rearranging the locations of billions of cubic miles of water with floods, massive earth movements, while creating desserts by sucking the waters off the hottest sections of land around the equator. This one event may also have altered the earth’s primary axis. Where the eruption or eruptions occurred, I do not know; I do not know if there was one massive eruption or many smaller ones. But if common sense dictates, and if the earths primary axis changed during this event (that is to say, changed which portions of earths surface face the sun even by one degree) then I would be leaning to one massive event, not many smaller ones. The reason for this theory is that it is this writer’s opinion that to move the earth’s primary axis from north to south or east to west would take a massive ‘engine’. A catastrophic event to say the least. I believe the ‘engine’ may have been a massive volcanic release of pressure from the earth’s center, rising up through our thinning crust, from deep within our planet. Enough pressure (like a jet engine) to turn and alter the earths rotation and axis. I believe it is these events which froze living creatures in seconds. An atmosphere saturated with steam and water, frozen liquid blocking the sun and falling from the skies freezing everything it hits. Smaller events similar to the ‘big one’ buried monuments and cities, and changed the location of oceans during mans life span; all without advance notice. The change in axis also moved massive ice caps to locations closer to the sun which diminished melting time tables. The ice caps being closer to the sun, coupled with the warming earth crust is global warming. No need to pack your bags just yet; but think of it, how many do you think will actually be able to leave earth? Very few I would think. We are talking about survival of a species, not saving all mankind. Without great unionization and collaboration of all earth’s peoples, we would never make it; even if we had another one hundred years. We may find we have been out there before, I don’t know. Perhaps we just keep going back and forth? As one planet evolves through a repeating life cycle, we re-inhabit an adjacent planet. In my book, the one with all of earth’s life cycle traits is Mars. Mars has a frozen surface. Most likely everything is dead or gone; we came here! Now earth is once again going through its repeating life cycle, global warming, increased releases of gases and shifting tectonic plates to accommodate the crusts expansion. The pressure from inside the earth will break through the crust, turn the seas to vapor, block the sun’s heat, and within days the vapor will freeze and fall; remember, we are talking about trillions of cubic miles of water falling from the sky and freezing. This event will make the earth’s surface look identical to present day Mars. Seems funny we have all that money and interest aimed at Mars lately? Perhaps Mars is our vacation spot? As with earth, as before, we cannot see the landing sites until the ice melts. It is not so much global warming that we have to fear, man will make not impact on the magnitude of what is occurring, it is what comes next, global freezing we need to concentrate on, and get off before it occurs. Perhaps the same as we did before! The ice is melting on Mar’s surface. It is revealing structures and clues. Evolution has already started there, again. I believe it is safe to say we are sister planets. That is to say we have been there before, and as with earth, we will weather the evolutionary cycles, and see you again next time. There are two events occurring here. We as a species are evolving, and our planet is also evolving. We do have a way out, and if we do this right, we will be just fine. Is it so far fetched to think for one second, the ones out there, were us? We need to start now, not tomorrow. In a human beings evolutionary mission, we need to embrace the earth we live on as our space craft, our home, and our existence, and the one thing that will keep us alive long enough to survive another millennium; however, we must also add to man's innate directive of survival another innate directive for the future of our species; the innate knowledge and directive that we need to start packing our bags, as perhaps we have done in the past. Just as Mars is again, in its infancy, we must again give earth time to reconstitute itself, with blackening skies, global winters, freezing waters, and once again the time to cool down. Mars has already done so and its time to consider checking out our new, temporary, digs.
Also keep in mind, 'the early bird gets the worm'. To be continued...All the best. RJ
